Remington Park

Sumthintotalkabout reunites with Cindy Noll, under whom she's run her best races, in the $25,000 Lady's Secret Handicap at Remington Park in Oklahoma City on Saturday.

The 6 1/2-furlong race for fillies and mares has drawn eight others, including Darlin Dixie, a two-time stakes winner around two turns, and recent $25,000 Kansas Oaks winner Spanish Guitar.

Sumthintotalkabout and Noll teamed to win two stakes and an allowance race this summer at Prairie Meadows. Their biggest triumph came in the $75,000 Donna Reed Stakes on Sept. 1.

Following that race, Sumthintotalkabout traveled to Arlington Park and ran third in the $50,000 Lazer Show under Zoe Cadman. She has since worked well for the Lady's Secret, and will start as the 121-pound highweight.

Darlin Dixie will be coming late in the Lady's Secret. Second as the favorite in the one-mile Carris Memorial Handicap last out, Darlin Dixie has sharpened her speed for the turn back in distance by working a bullet three furlongs.

Leading trainer Donnie Von Hemel has given the mount to Don Pettinger.

Another threat to Sumthintotalkabout is the Von Hemel-trained East is East, who makes her stakes debut after winning two of her last three starts by a combined 15 lengths. Tim Doocy rides for leading owner Pin Oak Stable.
