Remington Park in Oklahoma City on Saturday night announced an immediate 10 percent increase in purse supplements for eligible Oklahoma-breds. The increase was authorized by the Thoroughbred Racing Association of Oklahoma. The boost is for both restricted and open-company races, according to Matt Vance, vice president of racing and wagering at Remington. “Remington Park is pleased to announce this specific increase of Oklahoma-bred purse fund distribution by 10 percent, available in open-company and Oklahoma-bred races,” he said in a release. Remington Park opened its meet Aug. 15. The track will race into December.
