Redneck Humor gets fourth straight stakes win in Arapahoe Park Sprint

Redneck Humor, under jockey Frank Reyes, wins the Arapahoe Park Sprint by 3 1/4 lengths.

Redneck Humor won his fourth consecutive stakes race on Monday, darting to a 3 1/4-length win over Z Smoking Gun in the $30,000 Arapahoe Park Sprint. It was another head back to Rock On Dave in third.

The Arapahoe Park Sprint was a five-furlong race for 3-year-olds and up. Redneck Humor entered off a string of stakes victories in New Mexico. He won the $75,000 Budweiser in February and the $100,000 Bill Thomas Memorial in March, both at Sunland, then accounted for the $30,000 Inaugural at SunRay Park.

Redneck Humor ($2.60) was always prominent, racing with the pace through fractions of 22.42 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.91 for the half-mile. He went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 58.60.

Frank Reyes was aboard the winner for trainer Justin Evans.

Redneck Humor earned $18,000 for the win, his 12th victory from 26 starts. He has earned $359,720. The Arapahoe Park Sprint was his sixth career stakes win. Redneck Humor is a son of Da Stoops who races for the partnership of Vanessa Evans, Earl Neugebauer, and K.W. Sharp. ​
