Red Lead again shows love for Sunland

SUNLAND PARK, N.M. - Red Lead stalked the pace under Jorge Bourdieu before challenging and drawing clear late to capture Sunday's Pacesetter Quiet Again finished 2 1/4 lengths back in second followed by a rallying Dumar. Highweight and 17-10 favorite Going Ballistic could manage only a tepid bid and finished fifth.

Trained by Chris Hartman, Red Lead ($7) won for the third time in four starts at Sunland this season and for the fifth time overall in his 20-race career. The 4-year-old gelded son of Red Bullet covered the 1 1/8 miles in 1:48.85 over a fast track, and the $60,000 winner's share of the purse increased his career bankroll to over $362,000.
