AUBURN, Wash. - Positive Prize won the richest of eight stakes on Sunday's Washington Cup Day program at Emerald Downs, coming from just off the pace to score by a length in the $100,000 Gottstein Futurity for 2-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles.

Ridden by Ricky Frazier, Positive Prize got the distance in a stakes-record 1:41.40 and paid $5.80 to win as the second choice. It was the fourth win from five starts for Positive Prize.

In the $50,000 Muckleshoot Tribal Classic for older horses at 1 1/16 miles, Demon Warlock, the 4-5 favorite, won after a stretch duel with Dark Intent. Demon Warlock may have been passed by Dark Intent about 50 yards from the wire, but he dug back in to score by a nose in 1:40.60.
