Reach One More wins fourth straight stakes


LINCOLN, Neb. - Reach One More captured his fourth straight stakes win this year as the son of Blumin Affair romped home by 11 1/4 lengths in his first try going a mile to take the $20,600 State Fair Breeders' Special at Lincoln on Saturday.

Ridden by Mike Ziegler, Reach One More went to the front early in the race for 3-year-old Nebraska-breds, then drew off through the final turn and widened under hand urging in the lane. He covered the mile distance in 1:39 over a track rated good for trainer David Anderson.

The win boosted his career mark to 5 wins from 6 career starts, all in stakes company, and pushed his earnings over $57,000. He returned $3 as the overwhelming 1-2 favorite in the field of six and combined with Sugardazzle for an exacta worth $13.80.
