Reach One More romps in debut

The 2-year-old gelding Reach One More ($8), making his career debut, cruised to a six-length win in the $20,700 State Fair Futurity for Nebraska-breds at Lincoln on Saturday afternoon.

Reach One More also gave his dam, Rancho Gal, her second stakes winner from three foals to race. Under jockey Damon Leeds, Reach One More was part of a 3-horse entry from trainer David Anderson that was uncoupled in the wagering. Reach One More ran down his entrymate and pacesetter King Tymatt through the turn of the 4 1/2-furlong race to open daylight into the stretch and draw off for the win in 52.80 seonds over a fast track. Reach One More is a half-brother to Ittakestwobaby, a three-time stakes winner this year.
