Taris, who sparkled in the Grade 2 Raven Run, will sell in November.

Taris, winner of the Grade 2 Raven Run Stakes, will be supplemented into the catalog of the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall selected mixed sale on Nov. 3.

The 3-year-old Flatter filly earned her first graded stakes victory in the Raven Run, powering away in the stretch to win by nine lengths on Oct. 18 at Keeneland Race Course. The Raven Run improved her record to four wins in five career starts for earnings of $275,700. Taris also won the Wide Country Stakes at Laurel Park.

Taris will be consigned by Darby Dan Sales, as agent for owner Commonwealth New Era Racing. She is trained by Todd Beattie.

“Taris showed in the Raven Run just how special of a filly she is with that awesome 110 Beyer performance, and she’s the product of a rich Claiborne female family that includes War Front,” said Carl McEntee, bloodstock director for Darby Dan Sales. “She’s the total package, and one of the most unique turn-key opportunities you’ll see being offered this fall.”

Bred in Kentucky by Claiborne Farm and Adele Dilschneider, Taris is out of the winning Theatrical mare Comedy, who is the dam of three winners from as many foals to race. Her extended family includes Grade 3 winners Don’t Be Silly and Spring Beauty and Panamanian champion Chef Michelle.
