Rainbow Six jackpot survives Saturday card

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Gulfstream Park’s Rainbow Six jackpot survived again Saturday, leaving just one more card to go before the mandatory distribution of the entire pool Monday.

All six winners returned $2,419 for a 20-cent ticket Saturday, the winning combination covered multiple times by bettors who poured another $391,000 into the pool. The additional wagers swelled the existing jackpot to just under $6.4 million heading into Sunday’s program.

If there is not a single winner of the Rainbow Six on Sunday, the pool will be dispersed on Memorial Day when the final jackpot is expected to exceed $15 million.

A single bettor hit the track's "Rainbow 6" wager for a record $6,678,939.12 on Sunday, thwarting the track's expectations of having perhaps as much as $16 million in the pool for that exotic bet. Now that's a WOW!!!

I can't imagine how many FOOLS have chased this thing for mths. IT HAS PROBABLY BROKEN MANY A PLAYER. The big players will cover ALL the numbers which will park the little guy on the sidelines.

Yeh you are probably right. You need to pool together on this one. Which many will do. If i can get 5 people to wager $200 we may have a good chance. The key is to find a race with only 2 horses i would say one but i hate betting all that money on one horse anything can happen.

worst bet ever invented

Unless you play it on mandatory payout day, then it's ingenious. Pick your spots my man. Collect off those who don't understand the wager and math behind it.
