Queenledo, Rosieontop meet again

AUBURN, Wash. - Queenledo, who was disqualified from second in last month's Angie C. Stakes for interfering with Rosieontop, will meet Rosieontop again Sunday in the $40,000 Knights Choice Stakes at Emerald Downs.

The Knights Choice will be run at 6 1/2 furlongs.

Queenledo was making a strong move in the Angie C. when she veered in at the top of the stretch to cut off Rosieontop, forcing that one to take up sharply. Trained by Tim McCanna, Queenledo got within a half-length of the winner, Charming Colleen, after six furlongs in 1:10.80, but was disqualified and placed seventh. In her only prior outing, Queenledo won her maiden by nearly two lengths after going five furlongs in 59 seconds.

Rosieontop won at the maiden special weight level before going off as the 5-2 second choice to Charming Colleen in the Angie C. A He's Tops filly trained by Steve Bullock, Rosieontop drew the outside post Sunday and should be able to avoid traffic.

Both Queenledo and Rosieontop will have to improve to outrun T's So Shy and No Fences, who share top Beyer honors at 65. T's So Shy, who is trained by Jim Penney, earned her figure while posting an easy win over $25,000 maidens in her debut at 4 1/2 furlongs on June 18. No Fences, trained by Sharon Ross, earned her Beyer after defeating $40,000 maidens at 5 1/2 furlongs on July 17.

Also dangerous is Cherry Bank, who won her only start against maiden special weight company at five furlongs on July 1.
