ARCADIA, Calif. - Florida shippers Puxa Saco and Forest Native finished one-two in the $81,600 Anoakia Stakes on Sunday at Santa Anita, thereby validating the form of Florida-based Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies candidate Ivanavinalot.

Puxa Saco ($5.40) was the only winning favorite in the pick six, which went uncashed for the second straight day. A massive two-day carryover of $520,536.71 is up for grabs Wednesday.

Puxa Saco, beaten more than six lengths by Ivanavinalot Sept. 21 at Calder, won the six-furlong Anoakia by a length over Forest Native. The runner-up previously lost to Ivanavinalot by more than five lengths. Puxa Saco was making her first start in California, first for trainer Jenine Sahadi, and overcame a severe bumping incident at the break to rally for the win under Mike Smith.

Sired by Dehere, Puxa Saco finished the six furlongs in a moderate 1:09.97. It was her third win from four starts for owner Richard Roawan. Forest Native finished four lengths clear of third-place finishers Ionia. Morning-line favorite Ain't It Sweep drifted to a starting price of 2-1 and tired to fourth.
