AUBURN, Wash. - Morethanaprincess will make her Emerald Downs debut in Friday's feature, a first-level allowance for 3-year-old fillies that drew a field of seven to compete at 6 1/2 furlongs.

Morethanaprincess, a daughter of More Than Ready trained by Grant Forster, won her debut against maiden special weight runners at Santa Anita in March, going 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:03, good for a 92 Beyer. Morethanaprincess came back to run sixth, beaten 5 1/2 lengths, in a Grade 3 stakes at Santa Anita on April 1, then completed her California campaign with a ninth-place finish against allowance rivals over the Hollywood turf course on May 13.

Morethanaprincess has posted two local workouts, including a fast five furlongs in 59.60 seconds, and seems likely to be favored

off the company she kept in California. Ricky Frazier will have the call at 118 pounds, the weight to be carried by all runners.

Thatsthewayluvgoes looks like a possible upsetter off her sharp current form. Thatsthewayluvgoes, a Tough Knight filly trained by Robbie Baze, has won all three of her starts at the meeting and now boasts a record of 4 wins from 5 starts at Emerald Downs. She will be stepping up from the $17,500 claiming level, however, and will need to show significant improvement to extend her winning streak. Regular rider Ben Russell will retain the mount.
