Pricedtoperfection, a graded stakes-winning full sister to Miss Temple City, will remain in training for 2017, Tom Ryan of SF Bloodstock confirmed after her older sister won the Matriarch to continue boosting the family’s stock.

The multinational SF Bloodstock purchased Pricedtoperfection, a 3-year-old daughter of Temple City, for $650,000 at last month’s Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall selected mixed sale. The filly won the Grade 3 Sweetest Chant Stakes in January at Gulfstream Park and has placed in five other stakes this season, most recently finishing third in the Grade 3 Commonwealth Oaks in September. Ryan said she will remain with trainer Chad Brown, who steered her through that campaign.

Glittering Tax, the dam of Miss Temple City and Pricedtoperfection, sold for $475,000 to Irish bloodstock agent John McCormack at the same sale. The mare is carrying a foal by Medaglia d’Oro for 2017.
