Up Jumps a Monster finds good spot to end losing streak

Email

Up Jumps a Monster looked like he was going to be the favorite for the Grade 3 Canadian Derby in 2012 after winning four races in a row to begin his career for trainer Rob Chabot. His fourth win came in the $50,000 Ky Alta in his first try with stakes winners. However, he finished a distant second to Balooga Bull in the Manitoba Derby in his next start, and he hasn’t won in 15 starts since.
