Prettypriceygirl, by far the most lightly regarded of three uncoupled horses saddled by Justin Evans, surged in the stretch to upset Saturday’s $50,000 Czaria Handicap for fillies and mares at Sunland Park. Sent off as the second longest price in the seven-horse field at 15-1, Prettypriceygirl ($33) was never in contention until late in the six-furlong race. She came flying under Isaias Enriquez, making up 4 1/2 lengths in the final furlong, to defeat Bright Town by three-quarters of a length. African Rose  was third as the 6-5 favorite for Evans, whose third entrant, 5-2 second  choice Belleofthebeach, checked in fourth. The winning time was 1:109.47. The 6-year-old Prettypriceygirl was the beaten favorite in the one-mile Harry Henson Handicap in her Sunland debut. She had primarily been racing two turns in Southern California. Saturday’s race marked her first start in a dirt sprint since she won her maiden at Santa Anita in January 2013.
