Prairie: Sharky's Review still unbeaten

ALTOONA, Iowa - Sharky's Review ran her record to 2 for 2 when she rallied for a 4 1/2-length score in Monday's $72,300 Bob Bryant Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

Jockey Luis Quinonez kept Sharky's Review four wide, on the best part of the track, as they tracked Madi's Magic through a half-mile in 45.19 seconds. Sharky's Review rallied to take the lead a furlong out. She covered the six furlongs in 1:10.28.

I'm a City Girl, a 15-1 shot, rallied five wide to take second, three-quarters of a length in front of Seattle Prospector, the 6-5 favorite in the 10-horse Bryant field. The race was restricted to Iowa-bred 3-year-old fillies.

Sharky's Review, trained by Mark Bader, earned $43,380 for owner Paul Tonderum. She returned $8.40 to win as the second choice in the wagering. The exacta was worth $83.80 and the trifecta paid $241.40.
