Jockey Terry Thompson got his 3,000th career win Sunday aboard Ifoundmy Mojo at Prairie Meadows.

ALTOONA, Iowa – Jockey Terry Thompson wasted little time on Sunday's program at Prairie Meadows in getting his 3,000th career victory. Cruising to a seven-length win aboard Ifoundmy Mojo ($3) in the opener, Thompson became the 165th rider in North American history to reach the milestone.

Owned by Maggi Moss and trained by Chris Richard, Ifoundmy Mojo scored his third win of the meet, all under Thompson, in the six-furlong allowance race.

Thompson, 42, is an Omaha, Neb., native who began his career at Turfway Park in 1993. He has won seven riding titles at Prairie Meadows and another two at Oaklawn Park. During the current meet, Thompson has 65 wins from 242 mounts for a 27 percent strike rate.
