Potential buyers get chance to see Blame up close

Claiborne Farm and Adele Dilschneider will make Breeders' Cup Classic winner Blame available for breeders to view this week at Keeneland on Tuesday and Wednesday at trainer Al Stall Jr.'s Keeneland barn.

Blame, a 4-year-old by Claiborne stallion Arch, will be available at Stall's bam off Rice Road in Lexington at 9 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Keeneland has asked that, due to limited parking space, visitors park at the nearby Thoroughbred Club of America, where shuttles will begin service to Stall's barn at 8:45 a.m.

Blame defeated previously unbeaten Zenyatta by a short head in the Classic. He will enter stud at Claiborne in 2011.

Blame also won the Grade 1 Whitney and Stephen Foster this year, as well as four other stakes lifetime. He finished second in the 2010 Jockey Club Gold Cup and in last season's Grade 2 Super Derby.

Blame retires with 9 wins from 13 starts, and his Classic win brought his career bankroll to $4,368,214.

He is out of the Seeking the Gold mare Liable. She's also the dam of Dynaformer stakes winner Tend and is a half-sister to Group 1 winner and 2008 Arlington Million runner-up Archipenko.
