as a life long horse racing fan i thought i would never see the day that i would actually support the measure introduced in congress to revoke the interstate simulcasting and betting act, The congressmen who introduced the bill hit the nail on the head when they say that horseracing has become a corrupt and dishonest endeavor ..i think most bettors agree . but that's just the tip of the iceberg racing insists on self destructing drf is just one more example they have now become totally irrelevant by trying to charge people to read news about the sport..so basically they want you to bet while withholding or charging for the information you need .how do you entice new fans ?.by asking them for $8 to read about the sport and $9 to get a form?..the racing model is broken tracks cant survive without casinos otbs are closing and worst of all is not that they cant attract new fans they cant even keep the ones they have.
