Polarizing records fastest breeze in Indiana under tack show

Email

The Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age sale’s under tack show Saturday was headlined by Polarizing, a Sangaree filly who breezed three furlongs in 34 seconds flat.

The horses breezed over the main track at Indiana Grand in Shelbyville, Ind. All but two of the offerings that worked on Saturday morning were timed at three-eighths of a mile.

Hip 3, Polarizing, is out of the placed Gone West mare Goin for the Green, whose first foal to race is the stakes-placed Sung, a full brother to Saturday’s fastest worker.

Bred Indiana by Amy and Jim Elliott and consigned as agent by Elliott Ventures, Polarizing is from the family of champions Kitten’s Joy and Dreaming of Anna, Grade 1 winners Down the Aisle, Road Princess, and Precious Kitten, Grade 2 winner Justenuffhumor, and Grade 3 winners Provante, Divining Rod, Dreamologist, and Cassatt.

Hip 10, Pass and Go, a 3-year-old Pass Rush filly, bypassed the under-tack show, and will instead race in Saturday night’s ITOBA Stallion Season Stakes’ fillies division. She is also consigned by Elliott Ventures, agent.

The ITOBA sale will take place 2 p.m. Eastern Sunday at Indiana Grand.
