Point Given draws outside, again

Preakness and Belmont Stakes winner Point Given has drawn the outside post in a six-horse field expected for Sunday's $1.5 million Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park. This marks the fourth straight race that Point Given has drawn the outermost post position after having done so in all three Triple Crown races.

Point Given, trained by Bob Baffert and owned by the Thoroughbred Corp., has been installed as the 3-5 morning-line favorite in the field of six. He will be ridden by Gary Stevens and will carry highweight of 124 pounds.

The top challengers to Point Given are likely to be Hero's Tribute and Burning Roma, who drew posts one and two and will both carry 119 pounds. Hero's Tribute is 4-1 in the morning-line under jockey Jorge Chavez. Burning Roma is 5-1 and will be ridden by Rick Wilson.

The field will be completed by Touch Tone (6-1) from post three, This Fleet Is Due (10-1) from post four, and Jamaican Rum (15-1) from post five.
