Pocono: Horses to watch from May 30 - June 5

Monday, May 30

STORMONT PARK (NW6000) tipped in the final turn and roared home winning going away. Prohibitive favorite should take another or two.

Tuesday, May 31

PRINCE PALANI (NW6200) set a fast pace with the even money winner in his pocket and tired while second best.

MAURICE (NW3) finished well from 3rd over and was second best in game finish.

VELOCITY VESPA (NW6000M) rushed to the top, yielded, retook, opened up and was wrapped up through the lane.

RULES OF THE ROAD (NW6000) trotter let the speed settle, brushed and crushed leaving plenty for next time.

Saturday, June 4

UF ROCKIN DRAGON (NW17500) took a trip over the track in last and closed late from third over. Do not ignore.

EIGHTEEN (NW2300) took an early tuck, sat to the final turn, slipped out heading home and closed strong.

THE ONLYEST ONE (CLM25000) set the pace, battled stubbornly through the lane as the pocket-sitting favorite had to use it all to wear him down.

NO BU (CLM15000) finished full of pace from an impossible spot and earns long look in next.

GO DADDY GO (NW12000) tipped in the final turn, came wide and powered home but had too far to come.

Sunday, June 5

STEED (NW5) came wide and rallied gamely but it was too far to come.

SOUTHWIND MASIMO (NW7) finished best of all in last from 3rd over and just missed.

FREEDOM ROLLS (NW1FM) brushed and crushed to break her maiden and looked like there are more wins in store.

FASHIONABLE CAVIAR (NW1FM) left, tucked, came uncovered, challenged and rolled over the leader to win going away.

UNCLE HANOVER (NW5) got shuffled to oblivion, tipped in the final turn, broke in tight quarters. Do not overlook.
