Pocono: Horses to watch from Mar. 26 - Mar. 29

Saturday, March 26

COTTON EYED JOE (CLM20000) was parked a long way to the lead, set the pace under pressure, shook off the challenger but yielded to the wide brush of the winner, sat pocket but tired.

EIGHTEEN (NW9001) rushed to the led, set a good clip and held well under urging but should be able to take another.

PENCE HANOVER (CLM10000) was bothered in the final turn, lost a step or two but closed well once set down for the drive. Well bet second choice can get lucky if he gets a better trip.

BADIX HANOVER (NW6001) finished with good speed second over to the winner and earns a long look in next.

ALLBEEF N NOBULL (NW17501) tucked early, got shuffled, sat to the stretch, tipped and swung wide, closed  strong and just missed.

Tuesday, March 29

SWEET YOU (NW1FM) closed strong, won debut and should be in line to score again.

RUDE BOY (NW3000) set the clip and drew away as much the best.

THE ONLY ONE (NW9001) put in a huge effort at 12-1. Parked the mile, he pressed the pace all the way, wore down the speed and held off the favorite but was nosed on the wire by a fast closing second favorite.

JINS DRAGON (NW60001) won easily to take second in a row and there should be a third right around the corner.

DON MCWHITE (NW1) won debut from the pocket and should  be counted on to give another good account of himself.
