Saturday, April 28 CYCLONE KIWI N (CLMHCP30/40000) grinded a long way to the top, set a pressed pace and dug in gamely but could not last on a tough night for pacesetters.   FOUR CARD MAJOR (CLMHCP30/40000) followed wide to the third panel, fanned very wide and closed gamely to just miss. BESTJETYET (NW12000) came uncovered and challenged the pace at 55-1 and held tough while tiring. Should nail a win with a better trip. OUR REGAL IDEAL N (CLMHCP20/25000) sat near the rear, slid out heading home, tipped wide and closed a ton at 35-1 to just miss. QUICK ART (CLMHCP10/125000) wired the field in impressive effort as the prohibitive favorite and should take another. Sunday, April 29 KITTY KITTY HAWK (NW1FM) well be second choice went to the lead, set a pressured pace and dug in gamely but was nailed by the pocketsitting odds-on favorite. RICH SECRET (NW1FM) was parked uncovered a long way, challenged and tired in brave effort. XPERT BAYAMA (NW6) went down the road and proved best. Can do it again. ZAGSTER (NW6) was parked the mile, challenged to the lane and tired. Will score with better trip. \ Monday, April 30 WESTERN CREDIT (CLM10000) tucked to the quarter, pulled to the half, challenged but settled for the pocket when it opened, came on again but proved second best.  ISLAND TOWN (NW2FM) was third over behind a gapper, rallied late and strong but it was a bit too late. SUCH AN ANGEL (NW3500) wired the field drawing away easily and should take another race or two. B SEVENTEEN (NW3750) tucked early, sat impatiently for the uncovered horse to make his challenge, finally found the move,movement, pulled to follow but was caught in a very bad and prolonged blindswitch as others went wide and cover tired and lost any momentum. Tuesday, May 1 PRETTY BOY HILL and CORNER CON ARTIST (NW3000) co-favorites dueled to the death to the lane and still had enough to be two-three to the fresh tripped-out winner in last and could both do better with luckier trips. ARMBRO COURAGE N (NW17500M) ruled at every call setting a good clip and winning handily to earn respect in next. NIXIE VOLO (NW4) finished fast on the outside in most recent outing and will be hard to beat with right trip. GIRLOFYOUDREAMS (NW9000M) finished full of pace from an impossible spot at nearly 40-1 almost catching the odds-on pacesetting winner.
