ELMONT, N.Y. - Trainer Todd Pletcher set a meet record at Belmont Park when he won Wednesday's $65,750 My Juliet Stakes with Zawzooth.

It was Pletcher's 37th winner at the spring-summer meet. The previous record of 36 winners was set by Frank "Pancho" Martin in 1982.

Pletcher, who won the spring-summer meet last year with 30 winners, won three races on Wednesday's card. His other winners were Brighton Ridge in the fourth and Ella Bella in the fifth.

Zawzooth, who was ridden by Edgar Prado, won the six-furlong My Juliet by three-quarters of a length over the favorite, Forest Heiress. Redheat Riot, the pacesetter, finished third.

Zawzooth ($12.80) covered the distance in 1:09.78 over a fast track. Starlight Stable owns Zawzooth, a 4-year-old daughter of Unbridled's Song.

Pletcher, 36, said, "It's a great accomplishment for the whole team. Anytime you can do something nobody else has done, you have to enjoy it. We had the numbers and healthy horses to make the starts. Good owners giving you good horses is the most important thing."

Through Wednesday, Pletcher had saddled 125 starters at the meet, which ends on Sunday.
