Pin Oak Lane drops fees for two stallions, offers discount
Pin Oak Lane Farm in New Freedom, Penn., has reduced the fees for two of its stallions, Albert the Great and Lite the Fuse, and will stand Rockport Harbor for the first time in 2013. The farm also is offering multiple-mare discounts for breeders sending more than one mare to any stallion at the farm; mares do not have to be bred to the same stallion to qualify for the discount.
Albert the Great and Lite the Fuse, who both stood for $3,500 this year, will drop to $2,500 in 2013, and that fee falls to $2,000 for two mares bred. Offlee Wild’s fee remain the same next year at $4,000, with a two-mare discount fee of $3,000 and a three-mare discount fee of $2,000.
Pin Oak Lane adds former Darley resident Rockport Harbor to its roster. The Unbridled’s Song horse stood for $12,500 this season and will join Pin Oak’s stallions with a $7,500 fee in 2013. His fee falls to $5,000 for two mares bred and to $3,000 with three mares bred.
Pin Oak Lane also will stand More Smoke, a 10-year-old Grade 3 winner by Smoke Glacken, for $1,500, with a two-mare discount fee of $1,000.
