Pimlico pick four pays $4,800


The pick four wager that concluded with the Preakness Stakes on Saturday at Pimlico returned $4,881.80 for each winning $2 wager.

All-sources handle on the pick four, which ran from races 9 through 12 and carried a guarantee pool of $1 million, was $1,765,434. The winning horses were Cool Conductor ($24), Pinpoint ($10.80), Zakocity ($6.80), and Afleet Alex ($8.60); the winning numbers were 4-7-7-12.

The pick four that ended with the Preakness was the second of the card with a guaranteed pool. The first, which ran from races 4 through 7, carried a $250,000 guarantee, with each $2 winner being worth $659. All-sources handle was $359,006, and the winning numbers were 9-3-4-7.
