DEL MAR, Calif. – The single ticket jackpot pool of the pick six has grown to $121,137 for Thursday’s program at Del Mar.

The bet was popular Wednesday, a day that began with a carryover of $147,012 in the main pool and $31,502 in the single-ticket pool from Sunday. The pool of new money Wednesday was $782,965.

There were 16 tickets with six winners, which were worth $36,237. Consolation tickets with five winners paid $174.20.

The winners of Wednesday’s pick six races were Rafter One ($7.80), Miz Strawberry Dee ($8.20), Bob’s All In ($21.40), Ready to Hula Lula ($6.80), Cupid ($2.80), Arch Prince ($22.80).

With a six-figure carryover, the single-ticket pool is likely to begin attracting attention. That portion of the bet is paid only if there is one winning ticket.

If there are no winning tickets in coming days, the pool must be paid out on the closing day of the summer meeting – Sept. 4.
