Pick six carryover reaches $117,360

ARCADIA, Calif. - There is a carryover of $117,360 for the final Friday program of the winter-spring meeting at Santa Anita.

The nine-race program begins at 3 p.m.; the pick six covers races four through nine.

Here are the changes for the pick six races. In the fourth race, Six G's is scratched, leaving a field of 11 to contest a maiden race on the hillside turf course. Great White Father is the 9-5 morning-line favorite.

There are no changes in the fifth race, a more open race. Run over six furlongs for $45,000 to $50,000 claimers, the race is led by Half Wild, who is 3-1 on the morning line. Other leading contenders are American Warrior (7-2) and The Buggy Whip (4-1).

In the sixth race, Margeds Dandy is the even-money favorite on the morning-line to win a maiden claiming race over 6 1/2 furlongs.

In the seventh race, Sir Maskalot and Sheikh Fever are scratched. Those changes allow Casperius See to draw in from the also-eligible list. Taormina, trained by Rafael Becerra, is the morning-line favorite at 2-1.

There are no scratches in the eighth race, an allowance race over 1 1/16 miles for 3-year-olds that drew five. The race is led by Like a Hero, the even-money favorite, and Golden Hare, who is 9-5.

In the finale, there are no changes in a six furlong sprint for maiden claimers that drew 11 runners.

Call me Again, trained by Joe Glorioso, is the 5-2 morning-line favorite and will be ridden by Patrick Valenzuela.
