Pick six carryover reaches $108,545


ARCADIA, Calif. - There is a pick six carryover of $108,545 at Santa Anita on Thursday after a string of longshots won on Wednesday.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races on Thursday.

Here is a glance at the late changes.

There are no changes in the third race, a hillside sprint race for $55,000 to $62,500 claimers. Brocky's Dream, who has drawn the outside post in the field of six, is the 2-1 favorite on the morning line.

Spring Festival is 7-5 on the morning-line to win the fourth race, run over six furlongs for California-bred maiden claimers. The races features 10 runners.

In the fifth race, Que Borges is scratched, leaving seven runners in a sprint for $14,000 to $16,000 claimers. Further is the 9-5 morning-line favorite.

In the sixth race, Robert's Tribute is scratched. He was expected to be part of an entry owned by Michael Gill and trained by Nick Canani, who will be left with only Adminniestrator in the field. The winner of the $500,000 Sunshine Millions Turf in 2003, Adminniestrator is the 7-5 favorite on the morning-line. Beautiful Balance and Oro Desert are other leading contenders.

The seventh race was reduced to seven runners with the scratch of Amber Twilight, another Gill and Canani runner. They will start Alpine Singer, who is 4-1 on the morning line. Tender Teen (5-2) and Royal Kleven (7-2) are top contenders. Felipe Martinez will named at scratch time to ride La Bella Reina.

The last race is for maiden claimers over six furlongs. There were no changes at scratch time.
