Pick six carryover at $164,202

ARCADIA, Calif. - A string of longshots on Saturday has led to a carryover of $164,202 for Sunday's program at Santa Anita.

Sunday's pick six covers the fifth through 10th races on a program that begins at 12:30 p.m. For the most part, the pick six races on Sunday include full fields.

Here's a glance at the top contenders in the pick six races, three of which are on the hillside turf course.

The fifth race features the smallest field of the pick six races, with only eight runners. Run over about 6 1-2 furlongs on turf for the starter allowance class, the race is led by Mercedes Dancer and Glamour Cat.

The sixth race is a maiden claimer for 3-year-old state-breds over 6 1-2 furlongs. In a field of 13, there is no standout. Mammoth Power (7-2) and So Red (9-2) are the shortest prices on the morning line.

The seventh race is down the hill and features a field of 12. Sea Harbor and Mazepa have been scratched. Run for $40,000 claimers, the field is led by Tradition Rocks, Sex Machine, Witness This and Ulterior Motives.

The top race of the day, the $200,000 Potrero Grande Breeders' Cup Handicap, has drawn 10 sprinters. Kela, who won two sprint stakes at Del Mar last summer, is a lukewarm favorite at 3-1 on the morning-line, but most beat Saint Afleet and Hasty Kris.

There are nine starters in the day's final hillside turf race, an optional claimer. The speedy Littlebitofzip will go favored, but faces challenges from several other starters.

The final race is a maiden claimer over seven furlongs. Rusty Nail and Two Hours Late will head the betting.
