Pick six carryover at $134,339

DEL MAR, Calif. - Longshots in consecutive races on Wednesday has led to a pick six carryover of $134,339 for Thursday's eight-race program.

Thursday's pick six covers the third through eight races. The six races include four races on dirt for claimers. There is little quality on the program.

The third race is a $10,000 claimer for state-bred fillies and mares at six furlongs. The race drew seven runners and is led by Schwindler, the 6-5 favorite on the morning-line.

The fourth race is a maiden race on turf for state-breds. The race will have 10 runners, following the scratches of Robert's Star, Orpo, War Gael and Bartok of Siam. Tizmet, High Eena and Medzendeekron will lead the betting in an open race.

The fifth race is for 2-year-old maiden claimers at 5 1-2 furlongs. The race drew eight runners, and is led by Katalsta, She Looks Famous and Anna's Ex Citement.

The sixth race is for $9,000 to $10,000 claimers - California-bred fillies and mares - at six furlongs. Kouri Jill is the 5-2 morning-line favorite. She has drawn post 7 in a field of eight. Kreeker, who starts from the rail, is another leading contender.

The so-called feature is an optional claimer for state-breds at 1 1-16 miles on turf. The field of 10 lacks a standout. Many tickets will include Burst of Light, Jazzerin, and Lady Truffles, all of which will feature strongly in the betting.

The last race is a maiden claimer for fillies and mares at 1 1-16 miles. The field of nine is led by Sorority Bid, Devon's Queen and Lupita'sluckyangel. Sorority Bid and Lupita'sluckyangel have made multiple starts, Devon's Queen is racing around two turns for the first time.
