ARCADIA, Calif. - A string of longshots on Thursday produced a carryover of $289,934 for Friday's program at Santa Anita.

Friday's pick six covers the third through eighth races. There are no scratches in the pick six. Several of the races have large field.

In the third race, there are eight maidens racing for claiming prices of $35,000 to $40,000 over six furlongs. Hula Girl is the 2-1 favorite on the morning-line.

In the fourth race, Quila Shun is 5-2 to beat nine other 3-year-old fillies in a one-mile turf race for $45,000 to $50,000 claimers.

There are only six runners in the fifth race, a one-mile allowance race/optional claimer for fillies and mares. Sweep the Deck is the 5-2 favorite and has drawn the rail.

In the sixth race, there are 10 runners in a maiden claimer for 2-year-olds over six furlongs. Wisdom's Mark drew the rail and is 5-2.

The featured seventh race is more wide-open. The speedy Lookn East heads an allowance race on the hillside turf course. He is 3-1 against a competitive field that includes F.J.'s Pace (7-2), Lebontempsroulet (4-1) and Macward (4-1).

In the eighth race, Chance Rollins will ride the longshot Classic Man. Run over six furlongs, the sprint is for 2-year-old maiden claimers. Archetype is 5-2.
