Philadelphia: Filly sprinters clash

Not Very Ladylike, a winner in 2 of her last 3 starts while facing open company, and Hailie's Girl, a consistent performer against Pennsylvania-breds, head a field of 10 3-year-old fillies for the $50,000 Foxy J.G. Stakes at Philadelphia Park.

Not Very Ladylike drops in class to face statebreds for the first time after crushing first-level allowance horses by 7 1/2 lengths in the slop last time out.

Hailie's Girl won the Blue Mountain Juvenile at Penn National last November and most recently finished second when she went back to that track for the Wonders Delight. Her best performance, however, came two races ago, when she earned a 91 Beyer Figure that is by far the best in the Foxy J.G. field when second against high-priced optional claimers at Philly Park. Anything close to that performance should be good enough to be best in Tuesday's field.

Aside from Not Very Ladylike and Hailie's Girl, the only three-time winner in the field is Gold Stones. She cuts back to a sprint after six consecutive two-turn races while dropping to face statebreds for the first time.
