Perfect Prediction scores in Take Charge Brandi Stakes

Perfect Prediction and jockey Roberto Morales win the Take Charge Brandi Stakes by 3 1/4 lengths Friday night.

Perfect Prediction made her two-turn debut a winning one Friday night, darting home by 3 1/4 lengths over 1-2 favorite Golden Mischief in the $50,000 Take Charge Brandi Stakes at Delta Downs.

The Take Charge Brandi was for 3-year-old fillies. The seven-furlong race had a two-turn configuration on the six-furlong track at Delta.

Perfect Prediction ($10.80) was in control throughout, setting fractions of 23.70 seconds for the opening quarter, 48.20 for the half-mile, and 1:13.20 for six furlongs. She proceeded to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:25.60.

Roberto Morales was aboard for trainer Larry Jones.

Perfect Prediction is a daughter of Majesticperfection who races for her breeder, Brereton Jones. She earned $30,000 for the win, her second from five career starts. The Take Charge Brandi was the first stakes victory for Perfect Prediction, who has now earned $75,300.
