Penn National track report

A parade of longshots stumped pick three players in three different sequences on Saturday's card at Penn National.

No one had all three winners in races 3-5, 4-6, and 5-7. Chadychadybangbang (3rd, $26.40) and Otter (4th, $22.60) won back-to-back races that had 12-horse fields. The sequences also included third choice Saay Mi Name (5th, $10), and two other bombs, Mariatom (6th, $74.20) and Nine Notes (7th, $32.40).

* The 11-year-old gelding Russian Ruler ($11) scored his first win since August 2003 when he prevailed by three-quarters of a length in a $3,500 route for trainer Walter Magee last Friday night.

* More Than Odd ($18), beaten 30 lengths for $10,000 in his most recent start, dropped to $4,000 Friday and won by 3 1/4 lengths going a mile and 70 yards. It was the horse's second start since he was claimed for $4,000 by Dimitrious Synnefias in January. Synnefias is now 6 for 29 with a $2.68 return on investment second time off the claim since January 2002.
