Winning Image, with Jose Caraballo aboard, captures the six-furlong My Juliet by 2 1/4 lengths.

Three early scratches left Winning Image as the lone speed in a three-horse field and she proceeded to capitalize on that advantage to capture the $75,000 My Juliet Stakes at Parx Racing for the second straight year on Saturday.

Launching her 6-year-old campaign, Winning Image ($2.60) broke from the rail under Jose Caraballo and went right to the front. She set comfortable fractions of 22.47 and 45.79 seconds, and cruised home 2 1/4 lengths in front of Appealing Stella, who chased in second throughout the six furlongs in 1:11.02. J K L’s Legacy, still eligible for a first-level allowance, was third and last.

A daughter of Southern Image trained by Michael Aro for Martin Scafidi, Winning Image is now 4 for 5 at Parx and 9 for 21 in her career. In addition to the My Juliet, which was worth $150,000 last year, Winning Image won the Langhorne at Parx and the Willa on the Move at Laurel Park in 2012.
