Parx: Ms. Cruisen' draws off in Cornucopia

Ms. Cruisen' stalked the early pacesetter Bounding Bi to the turn and then rallied to a 2 1/4-length victory in the $75,000 Cornucopia at Parx Racing Tuesday afternoon.

Trained by Mike Aro, Ms. Cruisen' made quick work of the short field of four older fillies and mares in the six-furlong event. Under jockey Jose Caraballo, she drew even with and then put away Bounding Bi on the turn and shook off a challenge by second-place finisher Withgreatpleasure in midstretch. Puddy De Luca was third.

The winner of the 2011 Cornucopia, Winning Image, also trained by Aro, was scratched along with morning-line favorite Nicole H. Both will run Wednesday in the $100,000 Daylily at Penn National.

Ms. Cruisen' ran the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:11.87 and returned $3.40 to win.
