Turf star Paddy O'Prado, who won the Dixie Stakes on Saturday at Pimlico in his first start of the year, came out of the race with a bruised right front foot, but does not appear to have anything worse than that, trainer Dale Romans said Sunday morning. Paddy O'Prado walked from the winner's circle in good order on Saturday, but showed signs of lameness in the test barn following the race, to the point where he was vanned from there back to his stall in the stakes barn at Pimlico. Romans said subsequent X-rays did not find anything more amiss. Paddy O'Prado was flown back to Churchill Downs on Sunday morning on the same plane that took Romans's Preakness winner, Shackleford.
