Oxbow, Graydar top Taylor Made roster for 2014

Preakness Stakes winner Oxbow will stand for an introductory fee of $20,000 to lead the Taylor Made Stallions roster for 2014.

The millionaire Awesome Again colt, who also finished second in this year’s Belmont Stakes, is one of two Grade 1 winners new to the Nicholasville, Ky., farm’s roster for 2014, along with Graydar.

Graydar, a son of Taylor Made flagship sire Unbridled’s Song, who died in July, will stand for an initial fee of $15,000 off an undefeated 2013 campaign that included victories in the Grade 1 Donn Handicap, Grade 2 New Orleans Handicap, and Grade 2 Kelso Handicap.

Taylor Made stands a second son of Unbridled’s Song in current freshman sire Old Fashioned, whose fee remains unchanged at $8,000.

The fees for Taylor Made’s other four stallions also remain unchanged, with Eskendereya, whose first 2-year-olds run next year, at $17,500; Forestry and stalwart Northern Afleet at $8,000 each; and classic-placed Astrology, whose first foals arrive in 2014, at $7,500.
