When asked what prompted him to try his star filly around two turns, Trosclair commented "it was basically a matter of availability. We have entered her so many times going short; we just can't get a race to fill for her. This was about the only spot we could run her between the Lone Star race in June and a return engagement in the Majorette on October 1."
