Ordway Falls Nlove captures Bluegrass at Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. - Ordway Falls Nlove pulled off a mild upset with her $15.40 win over a field of five other older fillies and mares in the $15,720 Bluegrass Stakes at Lincoln on Saturday.

Making just her second career stakes appearance, Ordway Falls Nlove dueled through the early pace with Dazzling Seville, then slowly edged away late. Chris Fackler was aboard for the 1 3/4-length win in 1:12.60 for six furlongs over a fast track. Ordway Falls Nlove was fourth in the Al Swihart Memorial at Fonner Park, her only other stakes try, and gained her biggest career win Saturday for trainer Terrell Hemmer.

Dazzling Seville held second, while Shade On rallied from last to gain third. The 2-5 exacta was worth $84.60 while the trifecta returned $468.20. More Than Music, a California invader still looking to win her maiden, was sent off as a slight 5-2 favorite and finished fourth.
