Oracle Bloodstock to manage operations for Donegal Racing

Conor Foley's Oracle Bloodstock, based in Lexington, Ky., will manage all bloodstock and racing operations for Donegal Racing, the partnership's president, Jerry Crawford, has announced.

“We are thrilled to have Oracle and Conor on our team,” Crawford said. “Conor is experienced, smart and passionate about helping us continue Donegal’s success."

After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Foley accepted a position as the stakes coordinator for the Breeders' Cup, where he worked for several years. He was later awarded a spot in the Darley Flying Start program, and went to work for Darley's American operation after completing the two-year international management training program. Foley, who also earned an M.B.A., remained with Darley America for more than five years before leaving to launch Oracle Bloodstock last September.

Oracle Bloodstock will absorb many of the duties formerly performed by Julie Cauthen, who recently resigned to take a position in owner development at Keeneland.

Donegal Racing, founded in 2008, has already campaigned several prominent runners, including Grade 1 winners Dullahan and Paddy O'Prado.
