Onthedeanslist, Corey Lanerie up, wins the $75,000 Col. E.R. Bradley Handicap Sunday at the Fair Grounds meet at Harrah's Louisiana Downs.

BOSSIER CITY, La. - Onthedeanslist, left to his own devices on the front end in Sunday's Colonel E. R. Bradley Handicap at the Fair Grounds meeting at Louisiana Downs, had enough left in the late going to hold off heavily favored and starting highweight Fort Prado. Middleweight finished third in the grassy mile and a sixteenth headliner followed by Northern Scene.

Cleverly rated by Corey Lanerie, Onthedeanslist ($15.40) set early fractions of :24.85 and :49.30 while clear of the field and continued to lead after a three quarter split of 1:14.15. Fort Prado was well underway after trailing early but was left with too much to do down the lane and finished three parts of a length behind the winner. The final time over the Franks Turf Course was 1:44.17 over footing labeled as good.

The victory was Onthedeanslist's ninth from 21 career starts and Sunday's win was the Ralph Nicks charge's second stakes win of the year after also accounting for the Tri State Handicap at Ellis Park in September. The 6-year-old son of Honor Grades has now earned over $297,000.
