Oh So Easy, Lady Cherie meet again

GROVE CITY, Ohio - Oh So Easy, an upset winner of the Best of Ohio Distaff Championship in her last start, leads a field of six Ohio-bred fillies and mares in Sunday's Bobbie Bricker Memorial Handicap at Beulah Park.

Oh So Easy and defending champion Lady Cherie are the 120-pound highweights in the $40,000 Bricker.

In the 1 1/8-mile Best of Ohio Distaff, Oh So Easy rallied through the final furlong and scored a head victory over two-time defending champion Ashwood C C. The 3-year-old Oh So Easy cuts back a sixteenth of a mile in the Bricker. Julio Felix abandons Lady Cherie to take the call on Oh So Easy for trainer Tim Hamm.

Lady Cherie finished fifth, beaten 6 1/4 lengths by Oh So Easy in the Distaff after trailing to the second turn. A 6-year-old daughter of Al Sabin, Lady Cherie is by far the most accomplished starter in the Bricker field, with several stakes among her 17 career wins.

Overall, Lady Cherie sports a record of 17-8-5 from 38 starts and has $550,095 in earnings. Perry Ouzts takes over for Felix in the saddle for trainer Mike Nance.
