Officials seeking Ohio trainer


Clermont County, Ohio, officials are seeking trainer Chad Moore after several dead or starving horses were found at his parents' farm, according to online news reports.

According to Cincinnati.com and the website for the CBS affiliate WKRC, the county Animal Control department found several dead horses at the farm on Monday. An Animal Control officer involved with the case, Deborah Wood, did not return a phone call Tuesday.

Police are seeking Moore on several outstanding warrants, WKRC reported.

Moore, 39, runs horses mostly at River Downs, Beulah and Turfway Park. He has won 2 races from 30 starts this year for earnings of $33,286.
