J. Michael O'Farrell Jr.’s Ocala Stud announced stud fees for its expanded stallion roster for 2016, which includes new stallions The Big Beast and I Spent It. Based in Ocala, Fla., Ocala Stud will stand 12 stallions for the upcoming breeding season, adding established Florida stallions Awesome of Course, Brooks ‘n Down, and Hear No Evil. The Big Beast, a 4-year-old son of Yes It’s True out of the Deputy Minister mare V V S Flawless, won the Grade 1 King’s Bishop Stakes last year and was twice Grade 1-placed this year while earning $676,300 in nine career starts, with four wins. I Spent It, a 3-year-old by Super Saver out of Rateeba, by Sky Mesa, won the Grade 2 Saratoga Special Stakes last year and earned $347,640 while winning two of seven career starts.
