This is the second foal out of the unraced Pulpit mare Pulsating, who hails from the family of Irish champion Ministrella, Grade 2 winners Mini Sermon and A Little Warm, and Grade 3 winners Pleasant Strike and Minidar. She was a $250,000 buyback at last year’s Keeneland September yearling sale.

Winning mare Rahy Rose is the dam of six winners from seven starters, including Grade 3 winner Summer Raven, who has produced Grade 2 winner Lewis Bay and Grade 3 winners Misconnect and Winslow Homer. Multiple Grade 1 winner Wild Rush can be found in the extended family. The colt was a $200,000 purchase out of last year’s Keeneland September sale.

This filly was hammered for $180,000 at last year’s Keeneland September sale, and half-brother The Sandman commanded $700,000 as a yearling in 2012.
