OBS sale: Four horses tie for fastest time on final day of under-tack show

The sixth and final day of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. June sale of 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age under-tack show closed Friday with a quartet of juveniles tied for the fastest time at an eighth of a mile.

The horses covered the distance in 10 seconds flat over the Ocala Training Center’s all-weather Safetrack surface, and were part of the 32 horses to tie for the second-fastest overall time of the breeze show. The fastest worker came during Sunday’s opening session, when a first-crop Gemologist colt worked an eighth in 9.80 seconds.

Following are the four horses to tie for the fastest furlong during Friday’s session.
