NYTB to hold annual stallion season auction Jan. 10-13

Email

New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc., will conduct its annual stallion season auction starting at 12 p.m. Eastern on Friday, Jan. 10, and ending at 12 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13.

The auction supports NYTB and its political action committee in promoting the welfare of New York’s Thoroughbred industry and in advocating for the state’s breeders in debates impacting breeding and racing.

The auction will be held online via the Starquine bidding program. Bidders must register with Starquine prior to the bidding and all bids will be subject to the rules and conditions of the auction.

Seasons offered include stallions from Kentucky, New York, and other states, including new sires. Stallions featured include New York leading sire Bluegrass Cat, New York sires Freud, Frost Giant, Mission Impazible, and Trinniberg, and Kentucky sires Fort Larned, Giant Oak, Kodiak Kowboy, and Tale of Ekati. The stallion list can be viewed here and will be updated periodically until the auction begins on Jan. 10.
